Method & Madness Irish Gin With Black Lemon
methodandmadnesswhiskey.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Method & Madness Irish Gin is micro-distilled at Cork's Midleton distillery with sixteen eclectic botanicals led by black lemon and Irish gorse flower. The full bill runs juniper, sweet and bitter orange peel, black lemon, lemon peel, lemon verbena, coriander, cardamom seeds, caraway seeds, ginger, nutmeg, cassia bark, lavender, basil leaves, bay leaves and gorse flower. GinSchool tip: black lemon is whole lemon dried until dark, giving a deep, fermented, almost smoky citrus note unlike fresh peel.
