The London No.1 Gin

thelondon1.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

The London No.1 — "The Original Blue Gin" — gets its striking turquoise hue from colour added after distillation, which is why EU rules bar it from the "London Gin" name despite its roots at London's Thames Distillery. English grain spirit is redistilled with twelve botanicals: juniper, liquorice, orris root, cinnamon, almond, bergamot, savory, coriander, angelica root, cassia, lemon peel and orange peel. The bergamot lends a perfumed citrus lift — a hero botanical to reach for when you build your own bill.
