Campfire Cask Aged Gin
puddingstonedistillery.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Campfire Cask Aged Gin takes the 10-botanical Campfire recipe — juniper, orris, coriander, angelica, rooibos, roasted hazelnut, golden berry, fresh orange peel, fresh grapefruit peel and lavender — and rests it in American oak ex-bourbon barrels at Puddingstone Distillery. Macerated, distilled in a 50-litre still named Isabella, then aged and filtered. Roasted hazelnut brings a warm, nutty richness amplified by the cask — a characterful botanical to try in your own bill.
