Tiger Gin
tigergin.co.uk Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Distilled at Langley Distillery, Tiger Gin steeps its botanicals overnight in grain spirit before distillation. The bill runs to juniper, coriander, angelica, sweet lemon peel, sweet orange peel, cassia bark, liquorice root, nutmeg, cinnamon and orris, plus a couple of secret ingredients. Founder JJ Lawrence even saw off a high-court trademark challenge from Heineken's Tiger Beer. The warming nutmeg adds a baked-spice depth — one to reach for when you build your own bill.
