Sipsmith London Dry Gin
sipsmith.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Distilled in Hammersmith, London on Sipsmith's copper still Prudence, this benchmark London dry uses ten classic botanicals: Macedonian juniper, Bulgarian coriander seeds, French angelica root, Spanish liquorice root, Italian orris root, Spanish ground almond, Chinese cassia bark, Madagascan cinnamon, Seville orange and Spanish lemon peel. It's a genuine one-shot gin reduced with Lydwell Spring water — a rarity worth savouring. Ground almond lends a soft, marzipan roundness when you build your own bill.
