Jindea Gin
jindeagin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
A London Dry-style gin distilled in a traditional copper pot still, Jindea was conceived by bartender Matthew Dakers with a tea sommelier on hand. Ten botanicals build the bill: juniper, first-flush Darjeeling tea from the Goomtee Estate in India's Kurseong Valley, lemon, grapefruit, coriander, ginger, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon and angelica. That Darjeeling tea lends a delicate tannic floral lift, a sophisticated hero to fold into your own gin.
