Beefeater Crown Jewel
beefeatergin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
A premium, travel-retail Beefeater named after the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London and bottled at a generous 50% ABV. It uses the standard Beefeater nine — juniper, coriander seeds, liquorice, orris root, Seville orange peel, lemon peel, almonds, angelica root — plus a tenth, grapefruit peel, for an extra citrus lift. That bright grapefruit top note is a hero botanical to reach for when you build your own bill.
