Whitley Neill Gin

whitleyneill.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

Created by Johnny Neill of the Greenall Whitley distilling family and inspired by his wife's South African homeland, this London-distilled gin launched in 2005. Two African botanicals define it — fruit of the baobab, the 'tree of life', and Cape gooseberry — alongside seven classics: juniper, coriander seeds, lemon peel, orange peel, angelica root, cassia bark and orris root. That baobab fruit lends a soft, tangy character — a hero to reach for when you build your own gin.
