Mandarin Gin
amblesidedistillers.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
A seasonal release from Ambleside Distillers, distilled with freshly harvested mandarin from a South Australian orchard. Juniper anchors the spirit while kumquat, elderberry, vanilla, cacao and almond round out the palate, and cinnamon, cassia and licorice lend a subtle spice. The mandarin peel gives a fresh, zesty aroma — a generous citrus hero to build your own gin around. 40% ABV.
