Isle of Raasay Gin
raasaydistillery.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
This Hebridean gin from the Isle of Raasay Distillery starts with triple-distilled Raasay spirit, then redistills it with nine botanicals: juniper, rhubarb root, lemon peel, orange peel, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root, orris root and cubeb pepper. The rhubarb root lends a tart, earthy sweetness that sets it apart, a striking hero to weave into your own bill when you want a savoury fruit edge.
