Gabriel Boudier Saffron Gin
boudier.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Distilled in Dijon by the historic house of Gabriel Boudier, this gin wears its colour on its sleeve. Beyond juniper, coriander, lemon, orange peel, angelica seed, iris and fennel sits the eponymous saffron, steeped after distillation to give the spirit its warm amber glow and exotic, earthy depth. A characterful, vintage-styled gin. Saffron lends a luxurious, honeyed spice and dramatic colour — a hero botanical to make your own gin sing.
