Sadō Gin
sadogin.co.uk Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Sadō Gin is distilled in small batches of around 180 bottles with eight botanicals: juniper, coriander, lemongrass, sweet orange peel, orris root, elderflower, pink peppercorn and, most notably, Japanese Hojicha green tea sourced from a single-estate farm in the Okumikawa region. GinSchool discovery: Hojicha green tea is roasted rather than steamed, lending a toasty, mellow depth — a refined hero to make your own gin sing.
