Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin
mayfieldgin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin is flavoured with locally grown Sussex hops alongside seven other botanicals, each distilled separately in a copper pot still then blended. The bill is juniper, hops, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, liquorice, lemon peel and orange peel. GinSchool tip: hops bring the same bitter, herbal, citrus-pine character they give beer, a brilliant hero botanical for a gin that bridges the worlds of brewing and distilling.
