This Swedish gin is aged for 30 days in small 39.25 litre casks made of juniper wood and is said to the world’s first juniper wood matured gin. The stopper and bottle neck are hand-dipped in beeswax. Hernö Juniper Cask Gin was first released in London on the 9th of September 2013. Hernö Gin is distilled in Northern Sweden using a 250 litre copper pot-still (steep and boil method) called Kierstin with organic eight botanicals: juniper, coriander, meadowsweet, cassia, black pepper, vanilla, lingon berries and lemon peel.
