Green Genie gin
greengeniegin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Distilled from molasses spirit with twelve botanicals sourced along the old Silk Road, Green Genie carries juniper, Sicilian lemon, Seville orange, white Korean ginseng, coriander seed, angelica root and orris root, crowned by Chinese green tea. The founders, inspired by travels through China and a Bedouin camp in Egypt, named it for the magical 'djinn'. Green tea is the signature — a tannic, grassy lift that shows how an unexpected steep can define a whole gin.
