Amázzoni Gin

amazzonigin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

Distilled by Alexandre Mazza from 2016 at what's said to be Brazil's first dedicated gin distillery, Amázzoni draws on 11 botanicals, five of them Amazonian. The international set: juniper, pink pepper, bay leaf, lemon, tangerine and coriander; the Amazonian: cocoa, brazil nut, maxixe, lily and cipó-cravo. Cipó-cravo brings a clove-like exotic note — a hero botanical to make your own gin sing.
