Hoxton Gin

hoxtongin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

Developed by Gerry Calabrese of London's Hoxton Pony bar, Hoxton Gin is flavoured with coconut, grapefruit, juniper, iris, tarragon and ginger, steeped for five days before a single copper-pot-still distillation. Though named for the Hoxton area of London, it is actually made in Burgundy, France.

The unusual coconut note pushes Hoxton well beyond classic gin territory — a bold experiment to consider when you build your own bill.
