Launched in April 2013, Hernö Navy Strength is batch distilled in a 250 litre Carl copper still called Kierstin using organic neutral wheat spirit. This base spirit is diluted with well water and redistilled to ensure purity before the eight botanicals are steeped in the spirit and then redistilled. Hernö Navy Strength is identical to Hernö original gin only with less water added. Juniper and coriander are added first and the still heated to about 70°C then the heat is turned off and the juniper and coriander left to steep for about 18 hours before the other botanicals (meadowsweet, cassia, bl
