Goodmans Gin
goodmansgin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Launched June 2014, Goodmans is redistilled from 100% grain alcohol with twelve botanicals in a copper alembic pot still, each run yielding around 615 litres. Juniper anchors a warming spice frame of coriander, cardamom, liquorice and cinnamon, rounded out by peppery grains of paradise. That last one is a GinSchool favourite — a hit of citrusy, cardamom-like heat to deploy when you want your own bill to crackle.
