Dodd's Gin
Dodd's Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Made by the London Distillery Company and named after 18th-century entrepreneur Ralph Dodd, this gin steeps and distils most of its botanicals in a copper pot still called Christina, with the delicate ones drawn through a cold still named Little Albion. The two distillates marry for weeks before hand-bottling. The bill runs juniper, angelica root, fresh lime peel, bay laurel, green cardamom, black cardamom, red raspberry leaf and London honey. That raspberry leaf brings a soft, fruity edge — a hero botanical to reach for when you build your own bill.
