Portobello Road Gin Director's Cut No.3
portobelloroadgin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Released November 2017, the third Portobello Road limited edition was inspired by Pechuga mezcal — and, fittingly for Christmas, distilled with a turkey breast suspended in the 400-litre copper alembic. Charged with the signature 171 blend, it was redistilled with apples, pears, plums, currants, raisins, sultanas, apricots, brown rice, passion fruit, cinnamon, cassia bark, nutmeg and mace. That warming mace is a hero botanical to layer festive spice into your own gin.
