Heston From Waitrose Earl Grey & Lemon Gin
Heston From Waitrose Earl Grey & Lemon Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Named after chef Heston Blumenthal and sold through Waitrose, this gin is made at Chase Distillery on their potato spirit and flavoured with juniper, almond, coriander, lavender and angelica, then infused with Earl Grey tea. Heston describes a balance of earthy, aromatic bergamot and a citrusy tang of lemon.
The Earl Grey tea infusion threads bergamot through the spirit — proof that a steeped tea can lift a whole bill when you make your own gin.
