Ukiyo Yuzu Gin
ukiyospirits.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Made in Chiba, east of Tokyo, Ukiyo Yuzu Gin is based on a spirit distilled from fermented locally grown rice and redistilled over a juniper base with yuzu as the star. This Japanese citrus drinks like a blend of mandarin, lemon and grapefruit with herbal notes and a light sweetness, giving a bright glass of zesty citrus and bitter orange. That aromatic yuzu is a hero botanical to make your own gin sing.
