Seagram's Extra Dry

seagramsginlive.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

An American classic, Seagram's Extra Dry is built on grain neutral spirit and gently vacuum-distilled at low temperature in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Beyond the obligatory juniper, the recipe leans on cassia, orange peel, coriander and angelica before an unusual mellowing for several weeks in charred white oak barrels. That barrel rest is its signature softness. Coriander is a quiet workhorse here — one of the first botanicals to reach for when you build your own bill.
