Colombo No.7 Gin

colombosevengin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

Made to a 1940s Sri Lankan recipe and distilled in England in a copper pot still, Colombo No.7 leans on spices native to Sri Lanka: cinnamon bark, curry leaf, ginger root and coriander seed. These join a base of juniper, liquorice and angelica for a warm, fragrant character. The savoury, aromatic curry leaf is a genuinely unusual hero — one to experiment with when you build your own gin.
