The McLaren Vale Distillery's Batch 7 is a warm, earthy gin with an exotic, subtly Asian-leaning bouquet. Lemon adds a refreshing citrus note up front, then the palate turns to its drier, spiced character as coriander and cardamom dominate over a juniper core, finishing long with the spices lingering. Serve with Thai basil and a slice of lime. That cardamom brings warm, aromatic spice — a hero botanical to make your own gin sing.
