Genuine Old Tom Gin
Hapsmith Distillers Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
An Old Tom gin where traditional botanicals meet native Australian flavours, distilled at Ambleside Distillers in Hahndorf, SA. The makers' York roots come through in a post-distillation steep of English Breakfast tea, like a cuppa at nanna's. Piney juniper meets bright orange and lemon, with steeped brown sugar and lemon myrtle lengthening the palate into sweet citrus, spice, malt and pine. Lemon myrtle brings a vivid lemon-sherbet lift — a hero botanical to make your own gin sing.
