Amarula African Gin
amarula.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
From the makers of Amarula Cream Liqueur, this African gin is built on a base spirit distilled from hand-harvested marula fruit, then redistilled with four botanicals: juniper, orange peel, blossom and grains of paradise. The botanicals steep in the pot still for 24 hours before distillation. Grains of paradise add a peppery warmth — one to reach for when you build your own bill.
