Alpine Gin
applewooddistillery.com.au Botanical bill reviewed & confirmed by distillery
Applewood Distillery's Alpine Gin is a celebration of Australia's high-altitude country — intensely juniper-forward, amplified with bright native citrus, sweet spice and a waxy petrichor reminiscent of old-growth hinoki. Finger lime from the northern tablelands lifts it, while alpine mountain pepper leaf champions the floral character of those rugged ranges. Mountain pepper leaf is a fine native to experiment with in your own gin — it brings a slow, floral warmth quite distinct from ordinary peppercorns.
