The Botanist Cask Rested Gin, from Bruichladdich on Islay, takes the signature Islay dry gin — built on juniper, coriander and 22 hand-foraged botanicals — and rests it in fine oak casks to layer in gentle spice and warmth at 46% ABV. The result keeps the wild island character while gaining a rounded, cask-kissed depth. Oak maturation adds spice and softness — a finishing trick to consider when you craft your own gin.
