Mataroa Gin
mataroagin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Mataroa is a Greek gin named after the historic ship R.M.S. Mataroa, distilled with twelve botanicals sourced one from each of eleven Mediterranean countries. The named botanicals include juniper, lavender from South Chios and Greek mastic. GinSchool tip: mastic is a resin from the Chios mastic tree with a fresh, pine-and-cedar aroma, a distinctively Mediterranean hero botanical to lend your gin a sense of place. The full bill is not disclosed.
