Ki No Tea Gin

Ki No Tea Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

A tea-led expression from The Kyoto Distillery, Ki No Tea is distinguished by its gyokuro and tencha green teas, harvested in the historic Okunoyama tea yard dating to the 1300s and made with tea-grower Hori-Shichimeien in the famed Uji region south of Kyoto. Tencha is the leaf that becomes Matcha, while gyokuro is grown shaded from full sun. That shaded gyokuro brings a deep umami sweetness, an elegant hero for a contemplative gin of your own.
