Bluecoat Gin
bluecoatgin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry
Named after the Bluecoat militia of the American War of Independence, this Philadelphia gin is distilled in a Scottish-made Forsyths copper pot still. Organic juniper berries, American citrus peels, coriander and angelica root flavour the spirit, which is hand-filled into etched cobalt bottles and cork-sealed. Those American citrus peels give a bright, zesty signature — one to reach for when you build your own bill.
