The Canberra Distillery's 2023 Sloe Gin starts with their own London Dry, then rests it on wild sloe (blackthorn) berries handpicked in autumn. A few months' steeping draws the sweet fruit and contrasting tart skins into the juniper base; this release shows a slight citrus note and more intense fruit from a drier growing winter in Tasmania. Sloe brings that sweet-tart stone-fruit depth — a hero botanical to fold into your own gin.
