Zuidam Oude 3 Year Old Genever

Made by the family-owned Zuidam distillery, this oude genever is distilled from equal parts corn, rye and malted barley, then aged three years in 200-litre new American oak casks. The grain wash is triple-distilled, then a portion is distilled again with juniper, liquorice, aniseed and other botanicals before the malt spirit and botanical distillate are blended. That malty-sweet aniseed lift is a hero to reach for when you explore your own genever-style spirit.
