The Exiles Irish Gin

theexilesgin.com Reviewed by Gin School; distillery has not claimed entry

The Exiles bills itself as the only gin in the world containing shamrock, infused alongside juniper, red clover flowers, honeysuckle blossom, rowan berries and bog myrtle. Despite the Irish branding, Diffords believes it is actually distilled in London. GinSchool discovery: bog myrtle (sweet gale) was a key bittering herb in ales long before hops, bringing a resinous, eucalyptus-like aroma — a historic foraged botanical to explore in your own gin.
