Tanqueray Old Tom gin

A limited edition of 100,000 numbered bottles, Tanqueray Old Tom is Master Distiller Tom Nichol's reading of an 1835 Charles Tanqueray recipe. It uses the same four botanicals as Tanqueray London Dry — juniper, angelica root, coriander and liquorice — but in greater proportion, blended with flavourful column-distilled "new make" spirit and sweetened with a beet-sugar and well-water syrup for a fruity, old-style softness. GinSchool discovery: liquorice root adds natural sweetness and a rounded, slightly woody depth — a classic way to soften and lengthen the body of your own gin.
