Henkes Gin

The Henkes brand dates to 1824, when Henkes genever was first exported in the mid-19th century. Henkes Gin is a juniper-forward gin with citrus notes, blending juniper and coriander seed distillates with orange peel distillate, completed by a distillate of six secret botanicals.
Distilling each component — juniper, coriander seed, orange peel — separately before blending gives precise control over balance, a technique worth trying when you make your own gin.
