Described as an old-style genever, Before Gin is a blend of malt spirit matured in oak for seventeen years, juniper berry distillate, grain alcohol and unaged malt spirit. The result leans on juniper through that aromatic berry distillate rather than a long botanical list. It's a reminder that juniper distillate alone can carry a spirit — handy to know when you make your own gin.
